The CHFP Social Media Assistant will assist the CHFP Project Manager in providing and contributing to the provision of social media sites (Instagram Facebook LinkedIn) run by the Cultural Heritage Framework Programme as an official Action of the United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (2021-2030).
This post is a guaranteed hours fixed-term role offering 85 hours between July and 31st December 2025. We are open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working
This is a guaranteed hours role paid hourly at Grade UE05: 29179 - 33482 per annum pro-rata as part-time (15.99 - 18.35 per hour plus annual leave allowance at 18.1%).
Your skills and attributes for success:
Working towards a degree in a related discipline (e.g. Archaeology Marine Policy Geosciences Environment etc.).
Previous experience growing and managing social media platforms editing and posting multimedia outputs.
Working knowledge of Word systems processes and procedures including standard software packages.
Interest in sharing ocean science with the general public.
