You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailPsychometrists administer standardized psychological tests for the assessment of cognitive attention memory and personality functioning and academic achievement to patients ranging from infant to the geriatric. Psychometrists administer neuropsychological and psychological tests as well as measures of delayed development learning disabilities and attention deficit disorders in a controlled environment under the direction of a neuropsychology or psychology consultant. These measures may involve up to six hours of assessment with patients in either a clinical or hospital setting. Psychometrists are responsible for obtaining accurate and reliable results while engaging the patient recording behavioral observations and maintaining a standardized and valid testing environment.
Requires a minimum of a bachelors degree with a major in psychology or a related field. Prior experience in psychometry education or psychology is desired. Must have demonstrated communication interpersonal problem solving and organizational skills; as well as flexibility willingness to participate and induce change to improve efficiency and patient care. Computer proficiency is necessary.
