SUMMARY

Ensure proper placement of products in the cooler while following proper quality guidelines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • Notify supervisor of any products with issues; including but not limited to product without dates incorrect dates leaking cartons short-filled units or cases or any empty cases in a stack.
• Places products in the assigned area stacking 5 or 6 cases high 12 stacks to each row.
• Places dates on products facing the selector line making sure that new products are not placed in front of or on top of existing products.
• Verifies that products are labeled correctly.
• Notifies the console operator of any product mixing before products may reach the palletizer.
• Cleans and hoses down all spills.
• Notifies supervisor of leaking products and any waste products resulting in spills.
• Inspect areas around chains for milk drops; cleans and hoses down area accordingly.
• Other duties as assigned.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

• The work environment may require working in the cooler room with varying degrees of temperature and may include contact with water or dairy liquids.
• Exposed to a noise level of 90 decibels. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate/high. Wet/slippery work conditions.
