The Montana Department of Revenue administers almost 40 state taxes property appraisals liquor laws and unclaimed property for the state of Information Management and Collections Division serves Montana citizens and businesses through timely and accurately processing tax returns refunds and payments integrating improved technology to enhance the user experience increasing electronic filing resolving overdue debt and collecting other state agencys debt.

Job Overview:
This position resides in theInformation Management and Collections DivisionofDepartment of Revenue.Duties include coordinating program activities managing program information responding to inquiries and support issues collecting and reporting program data. The incumbent will manage relationships with various internal and external stakeholders assist business analysts and unit managers with program administration. The position resides in the Information Management Bureau which comprised of three units Customer & Payment Management Digitization and Information Governance. The position reports to the Unit Manager. This position does not supervise other staff.
The Information Management Bureau is responsible for: processing paper and electronic payments returns and correspondence; managing customer information; managing software vendor relations. REMOTE/TELEWORK:This position may be eligible to work from an approved worksite within the state of Montana. This position would be required to report to a Department of Revenue office assigned by the supervisor. Employees must meet and sustain Department of Revenue telework eligibility requirements and supervisors approval to participate in the DOR Telework Program.
Training Assignment:This agency may use a training assignment. Employees in training assignments may be paid below the base pay established by the agency pay rules. Conditions of the training assignment will be stated in writing at the time of hire.
