As a senior member of the cloud engineering team this position will play a critical role in designing implementing and managing the cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability scalability and security. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Lead the design and architecture of complex cloud solutions primarily in Microsoft Azure considering performance availability security and cost optimization.
• Oversee the deployment configuration and maintenance of cloud infrastructure including virtual machines networking storage and security measures.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement continuous integration and deployment pipelines ensuring seamless application deployments and updates.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IAC) templates using tools such as Terraform Ansible and Puppet.
• Monitor and optimize cloud resources to ensure efficient utilization cost-effectiveness and optimal performance.
• Implement and maintain robust security controls identity and access management and compliance standards across cloud environments.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud services networking and infrastructure components.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior cloud engineers fostering a culture of learning and professional growth.
• Collaborate with cloud service providers (Azure AWS Google Cloud) to ensure alignment with best practices access to support and utilization of latest features.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation architectural diagrams and operational procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree in IT or a related field preferred.
• Must have at least 4 - 6 years of related experience in Information Technology.
• Must have at least 3 4 years of experience in Microsoft Azure.
• Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts virtualization networking security and storage. Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as PowerShell or Bash.
• Experience supporting major infrastructure migration initiatives is preferred.
• Property/casualty insurance background and jewelry industry experience are helpful but not required.
