LPN Pay Ranges $29.00 - $35.00 per hour shift differentials!
Rate is determined by years licensed.
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the MissouriDepartment of Corrections.
We are currently seeking a full-timeInfection Control Nurse (LPN)to join our team at Crossroads Correctional Centerlocated in Cameron Missouri.
The Infection Control Nurse (LPN) is responsible for performing a variety of duties involving the prevention and control of infectious diseases. The Infection Control Nurse will coordinate the collecting interpreting and reporting of data assist in the development of care plans for patients with infectious diseases and will serve as a consultant to nurses physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding care tracking and reporting of patients identified with infectious disease.
Qualifications
- Missouri or Compact Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licenseor ability to obtain one required
- Must be IV certified
- Certification in Infection Control (CIC) preferred
- 1 to 3 years experience providing nursing care in a public health environment long term care or acute care setting with focus on infection prevention and control
- Must show current tuberculosis screening documentation and active Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience working with a high degree of autonomy required
- Experience in correctional environment preferred
- Ability to obtain a security clearance to include drug screen and criminal background check
Available Shift:Days 8:00am-4:30pm 5-8s and rotating weekends
