Cardiology - Methodist Plaza

Monday-Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm

**$5000 sign-on bonus for external candidates.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Specialty Clinic Nurse to provide direct patient care in a specialized clinical setting. You will collaborate with physicians and medical staff to ensure quality care for patients with specific medical needs while promoting patient safety and comfort.

  • Provide direct care to patients including assessments treatments and medication administration.
  • Assist physicians during exams procedures and diagnostic tests.
  • Educate patients on their conditions treatments and self-care.
  • Document patient interactions and care in the EHR system.
  • Monitor patient conditions respond to changes and ensure a safe environment.
  • Support patient flow including scheduling and follow-ups.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.

Qualifications

  • Current RN license in IOWA
  • 1 years of clinical experience (outpatient/primary care preferred)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • BLS certification (ACLS a plus)/Mandatory reporter
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • Comfortable with EHR systems and multitasking
  • Ability to lift and assist patients as needed
  • Standing walking and sitting for extended periods
