COMPENSATION: $16.25 -$20.59 PER HOUR
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 8:00am-6:00pm (Varies)

As a Part Time Lab Technician 1 at Wasatch Behavioral Healths Testing Center in Provo Utah you will play a crucial role in conducting forensic quality analysis and preliminary testing for drugs and alcohol. Your meticulous work will provide reliable data to programs and agencies ensuring the accuracy and integrity of substance abuse testing results. By following chain-of-custody and Utah County Division of Substance Abuse Drug Testing Laboratory processes you will perform immunoassay screening for drugs of abuse and observe clients during sample collection to prevent tampering. You will operate and maintain the V-twin Biochemical analyzer with precision analyze data in compliance with regulatory guidelines and maintain strict confidentiality of client information in our database. Your dedication to maintaining bio-hazard safety standards and ensuring the security of testing equipment will contribute to the high standards of care we uphold at Wasatch Behavioral Health.
To excel as a SUD/UA Testing Specialist candidates must meet the following qualifications: either a bachelors degree in Biology or a related field or a high school diploma with two years of relevant experience. Proficiency in drug screen analysis drug use trends and specimen validity testing is essential. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of federal state and local laws relating to healthcare confidentiality and possess basic office management and computer skills. Strong communication abilities both verbal and written are crucial for interacting with colleagues professionals and clients. The ability to perform effectively under pressure meet productivity standards and handle crisis situations is imperative.
