EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors degree required or in lieu of a degree 5 years of experience at Able Aerospace Textron Aviation or like employer.
- Minimum 5 years in a customer-facing sales product development or similar role with preferred experience in sales.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to work in a high-volume environment with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in verbal written and interpersonal communication.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office suite of applications experience with Salesforce preferred.
- Experience with Bell Airbus Helicopter Sikorsky Boeing Airliner and Airbus Airliner aircraft preferred
- Ability to create a complex work-scope quote and deliver and/or explain to the customer as necessary.
- Extensive fixed and/or rotary-wing platform experience and technical knowledge across multiple OEMs preferred.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Sales Manager role is to develop new and recapture business and all Lead Generation efforts within their assigned portfolio. Responsible for the development and execution of pursuit programs to drive sales revenue.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify leads and develop relationships with new customers to drive business growth.
- Manage sales process for maintenance repair and overhaul services as well as PMA parts.
- Communicate cost-savings options to current and new customers highlighting Ables value to their operations.
- Work with the Account Managers to manage and nurture relationship with current customers
- Identify new opportunities for repair or PMA development
- Be the voice-of-customer inside Able providing customer feedback to organization regarding customer expectations (pricing TAT performance)
- Develop strategic plans to align sales efforts with companys strategy and goals.
- Performs business review with customers to understand current performance and identify and address potential issues
- Review customer business and Ables value proposition to develop work-scope proposals and winning quotes.
- Represent Able at industry events and conferences as needed
- Create and organize sales reports analyze and summarize data as well as create customer target and opportunity priorities.
