Job Description

About the Role:
Midlake Products is a Metal Fabricator located in Louisvlle Ohio. We have been in business for over 35 years and are growing! We are seeking a calm well-composed critical thinker to join our team as a Fiber Laser Operator. In this role you will operate two fiber lasers to produce high-quality metal parts and components. Prior experience is preferred but not required - we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong aptitude for computers and CNC machinery as well as an even-keeled common sense approach to the tasks at hand.
Responsibilities:
- Operate fiber laser cutting equipment to produce parts to specifications
- Interpret drawings and work orders
- Perform basic quality checks and ensure parts meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with CNC machines or laser equipment (a plus)
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in computers
- Solid math skills and the ability to read and interpret drawings
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
