Job Description
Are you looking for an opportunity to grow and expand your knowledge Bob Ruth Ford is looking for a motivated and reliable Lot Attendant.
OVERVIEW OF COMPANY AND POSITION
Family owned and operated for over 40 years Bob Ruth Ford Inc. is South Central Pennsylvanias fastest growing dealership. The Lot Attendantis responsible for a variety of duties in support of the photos/inventory and sales lot.
JOB REQUIREMENTS (REQUIRED)
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A valid Pennsylvania Drivers License and acceptable driving record
- Prior experience driving and/or detailing automobiles
- Ability to move quickly (Certain elements of the job are physically demanding)
- Ability to operate vehicles equipped with a manual transmission
- Ability to work irregular hours which may include evenings or Saturdays
JOB REQUIREMENTS (PREFERRED)
- 1 or more years of successful experience detailing automobiles
- 1 or more years of experience as a Lot Attendant Detailer Porter Shuttle Driver or related position
- A familiarity with Rapid Recon
JOB DUTIES
This position works independently to maintain our photo/inventory and sales lot which is clean orderly and organized. This involves a variety of duties including:
- Handling and Merchandising Inventory
- Use Photo System to precisely image vehicles
- Follow merchandising processes accurately and efficiently
- Consistent communication with the marketing team pertaining to merchandising
- Taking videos/photos of newly arrived vehicles and uploading them so that they can be posted online
- Documenting VIN numbers accessories damage and other pertinent vehicle features to accompany photos and videos
- Transporting vehicles to auction sites body shops dealerships etc.
- Moving organizing and aligning vehicles on the Sales Lot to maximize presentation and use of space
- Receives new vehicle inventory and related tasks (stocking in checking for damages etc.)
- Handles transporter pick ups for vehicles sold online (verify gate passes/VIN/stock number)
- Driving vehicles from point to point within the dealership in support of Sales and Service departments as directed
