Job Description
solar engineer designs develops and manages solar energy systems for residential commercial and industrial applications. They are responsible for evaluating project feasibility coordinating with project managers and ensuring compliance with regulations. Their work includes creating technical reports schematics and documentation for solar projects as well as providing technical support and troubleshooting for existing installations.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development:
Solar engineers design and develop solar power systems optimizing them for maximum efficiency and performance.
Site Assessment:
They conduct site assessments to determine the suitability of solar installations considering factors like sunlight exposure shading and structural integrity.
Project Management:
They coordinate with project managers engineers and clients to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Technical Documentation:
They prepare technical reports schematics and documentation for solar projects including electrical single-line diagrams (SLDs).
