We are seeking a skilled Pump Technician with demonstrated mono & submersible pumps experience to work with a dewatering team on site in the role of a Pump Technician. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge slurry and de-watering pumps providing essential support across sectors such as mining construction and water management. The FIFO roster ex-WA will be confirmed with interested candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
Repair fabricate install and remove a variety of centrifugal gear diaphragm reciprocating pumps and related rotating equipment
Perform rotating equipment alignments for optimal performance
Troubleshoot and diagnose faults across all rotating equipment ensuring rapid effective solutions
Maintain repair and rebuild centrifugal submersible water injection and reciprocating pumps both on-site and in the field
Install and remove pumps efficiently while adhering to safety and operational guidelines
Build and repair reciprocating Bottom Hole Pumps to meet industry standards
Manage new equipment startups and commissioning for clients
Perform new base installations and prepare equipment for operational use
Work within spending thresholds to ensure repairs and maintenance are cost-effective
Requirements:
- Trade qualification as a Pump Fitter or Plant Fitter
- C-Class Drivers Licence
- Remote or site experience
- Unrestricted Australian working rights and located in Western Australia
