Job Title:Assembly Technician
Job Type:Temp to Hire
Location:Tulsa OK
Pay:$17$18.50/hour DOE(includes an 11.5 shift premium on all hours worked)
Shift:FridaySunday 6:00 AM 6:00 PM
Position Overview:
We are hiring Assembly Technicians to join a growing team in Tulsa. Were looking for motivated individuals who take pride in their work are team-oriented and are committed to growth and excellence. This position requires assembling parts interpreting technical drawings and maintaining high safety and quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assemble or repair parts and products using hand and power tools
- Interpret and follow technical documentation such as blueprints diagrams and schematics
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all company and industry safety requirements
- Troubleshoot problems and apply critical thinking to resolve issues
- Assist with product testing documentation and maintenance as needed
- Rivet components and perform electrical wiring tasks
- Acquire basic knowledge of test procedures and techniques
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical assembly
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Demonstrated experience with electrical wiring and riveting
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods (standing or sitting)
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet production schedules and quality standards
Physical Demands & Safety-Sensitive Considerations:
This is a safety-sensitive position due to the involvement in:
- Handling storage and transport of hazardous materials
- Operating motor vehicles machinery or power tools
- Repairing or monitoring equipment where failure may cause harm
- Working with volatile materials or chemicals
- Regular standing bending squatting and climbing for 95 of the shift
