Job Description
To ensure the smooth efficient and secure operation of the organizations network and data centre infrastructure. This involves managing resources planning for capacity ensuring data security and collaborating with other departments to support business objectives. Also to be a Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing solutions and advice business across multiple complex problem sets working with vendors to improve IT network solutions as well providing support to junior staff.
Qualifications :
Bachelors Degree in Information Technology
Additional Information :
Experience:
- 10 years experience in relevant telecommunications or IT Infrastructure.
- 5 years experience in management or leadership roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Networking: Expertise in network protocols technologies (e.g. TCP/IP Ethernet MPLS SDWAN) and network devices (routers switches firewalls).
- Data Centre Infrastructure: Knowledge of server hardware storage systems (SAN NAS) power distribution and cooling systems.
- Incident Management & Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving endpoint-related technical issues to minimize downtime and enhance user experience.
- Project Management: Plan execute and managing data centre projects including infrastructure upgrades and deployments.
- Cybersecurity: Manage security threats risk assessments security protocols and incident response.
