Job Description

The Senior Plant Human Resources Manager will be accountable for delivering human resources leadership for a manufacturing facility. This hands-on position is responsible for driving the implementation of HR processes and initiatives and promoting a results oriented and performance driven culture.
 

The Senior Plant Human Resources Manager should have:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for leading union relationships
  • Experience with data management
  • Ability to manage the discipline process
  • Expertise coaching and counseling employees
  • Experience supervising payroll
  • A service-oriented approach to working with others


The Senior Plant Human Resources Manager will:

  • Manage labor relations (including involvement in union meetings grievances and negotiations)
  • Drive Talent Management processes
  • Conduct employee investigations
  • Manage and maintain adequate staffing levels for the plant

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor degree required
  • At least 5 years of professional HR experience preferably in a 24/7 environment
  • Previous experience in a union environment
  • Must have experience with California Labor Laws
  • Proficient in MS Office with the ability to learn new systems and programs
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not required

Salary Range:  The expected salary range for this position is between $100000 - $130000 and includes a possible 12% quarterly incentive bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
