Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Educational Assistant to support students with and without disabilities in a kindergarten classroom. The candidate will work collaboratively with teachers and staff to support students academic social emotional and behavioral development in both general and specialized settings throughout the Responsibilities:Assist the classroom teacher in implementing academic social and emotional/behavioral interventions within the general education classroom and other instructional settings (e.g. art music physical education and technology).Provide individualized and small-group support to students using instructional activities and strategies developed by the classroom teacher to address diverse learning data on students progress toward their academic social and behavioral goals to support ongoing assessment and students with personal care needs as one-on-one or in small groups with students to reinforce learning and promote with classroom teachers special education staff support personnel and grade-level teams to ensure consistent and effective support for all and participate in meetings Safety Care training and professional development opportunities as assigned by building or district strict confidentiality in all matters related to students and additional duties as assigned by the classroom teacher special education teacher or building/district administrator.
