Job Description:
General Description
The purpose of this position is to assist the Treasurer with the daily operations of the treasurers office investment of funds and management of the daily fund balances.
This position works independently under limited supervision reporting major activities through periodic meetings.
Duties and Responsibilities
The functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this position. Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the position as necessary.
Degree in accounting records management public administration finance or a closely related field preferred. Relevant work experience in the same or related field may be considered in place of degree. Must be detail oriented with exceptional history of accuracy in accounting functions. The preferred candidate will be expected to maintain effective time management of projects. Strict confidentiality is required.
