You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailOperates maintains and repairs heating ventilation air conditioning refrigeration and control systems. Will be required to diagnose and troubleshoot issues on complex critical systems. Responds to customer complaints regarding design comfort or safety issues. Complete Preventive Maintenance per policies and/or procedures following the CMMS timeline ensuring regulatory compliance. Demonstrates effective communication assertiveness and versatility in responding to customer needs. Is able to plan organize and prioritize work tasks. May be required to work with others in planning and scheduling for modifications and repairs to systems with minimal disruption to the mission of our organization while meeting fiscal constraints. Is alert to all aspects of equipment when responding to customer requests and communicate concerns to appropriate personnel. Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possesses excellent human relations skills to interact with staff visitors and patients. Available to work occasional overtime. On-call rotation may be required. Maximum response times for on-call determined per campus location.
Associates degree or a two year degree from a technical college related to a Building Infrastructure System maintenance program or completion of a one-year trade-specific program. One year of trade specific experience working with Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning or Refrigeration (HVAC/R) OR- three years of field service experience related to the skills associated with Building Infrastructure Systems. Four years of military experience in a related field will be considered in lieu of the educational and field service experience requirements.
