1 - Campus Assistant positions (Male locker room) - 5.75 hours a day 180 workdays per year. We are testing for an eligibility list at this time which will be used to fill vacancies for up to one year.
Campus Assistants are to assist in the supervision of children at designated times thus contributing significantly to the effectiveness of the total instructional program.
1. To supervise the health safety and conduct of the children during an assigned period in cafeterias lunchrooms lunch shelters playgrounds bus loading areas restrooms locker rooms and other similar areas as assigned.
2. To supervise but not to organize or conduct noon play activities which are in progress.
3. To wipe down lunch table tops and seats before during and after assigned meal periods; assist children opening milk cartons opening food packages cleaning up small table spills and keeping a calm and controlled atmosphere in the lunchroom at all times.
4. To assist children to observe courtesies and rules of safety.
5. To maintain a respectful and courteous attitude toward the children.
6. May accompany children between campus areas as assigned. May accompany children between campus areas as assigned.
7. To assist school age children across intersections during slow and peak traffic times to ensure safety as assigned.
8. To provide crossing guard duty as assigned.

This is a Dual Certification recruitment: Candidates who attain a passing score on each examination part will be placed in rank order on an eligibility list after promotional credits are added to the composite test scores of promotional candidates.
