Primary Purpose:
Maintain accurate attendance records for the campus. Under close supervision perform data entry including attendance Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) data and grades. Responsible for maintaining student academic records at the campus level under minimal supervision. Process student enrollment transfers and withdrawals for the campus. Reconcile the bank account with business manager each month printing statements.

Education/Certification:
High school diploma or GED
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to use software to develop spreadsheets and databases and do word processing
Proficient in keyboarding 10-key numerical data entry and file maintenance
Ability to meet established deadlines. Ability to maintain accurate and auditable records
Ability to use software to develop or maintain spreadsheets and databases and do word processing
Basic math skills
Strong organizational communication and interpersonal skills
Experience:
years data entry experience preferred.
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Records and Reports
Collect and enter attendance and PEIMS data into established database and verify accuracy according to prescribed procedures.
Maintain student records and process requests for student information and transcripts. Process new student records including requesting transcripts and records from other schools.
Assist parents students and faculty with questions regarding student attendance.
Contact parents/guardians to verify student absences as needed and report attendance problems to designated administrator.
Compile maintain file and distribute all reports records and other documents as required following established procedures.
Coordinate grade reporting process including verification and correction of grades and preparation and distribution of report cards.
Calculate grade point averages class rank and prepare honor rolls.
Complete enrollment withdrawals and transfer of students.
Assist campus administration and counselors with the preparation of reports and student data information.
Coordinate the honor roll printing certificates and ordering awards.
Maintain confidentiality of information.
Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Enter pos into Ascender for approval print po and acquire receipts for every po. Reconcile bank account each month with business manager. Get student activity forms filled out and write check.
