Pediatric physical and speech therapists perform feeding assessments provide positioning and sensory input support and are trained in treating ankyloglossia cleft palate and other feeding-inhibiting conditions. The Level II Nursery/NICU team includes respiratory therapists who have achieved the Neonatal Pediatric Specialist (NPS) certification. The Level II Nursery is located inside the New Generations Family Birthing Center which underwent a $6 million renovation in 2018 and is located on the third floor of the hospital.
