Job Description

Provider will also need DHMF privileges as this service will transition to DHMF in the next few months!

Facility Location: Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital
Setting: General Acute Care Hospital (Stroke Certified not Chest Pain Center accredited not a Trauma Level designation)
Duties: Hospital Coverage we have a need for a Radiologist to cover the Hospital which involves the IR needs along with Stroke CTs and other procedures/availability.
Required Procedures: IR Procedures (Thoracentesis Paracentesis Nephrostomy Tubes Intra-abdominal abscess drainage Chest Tubes Suprapubic Catheters); CT/US Biopsies (Thyroid Lung Other) Barium studies Lumbar punctures.
EMR: Cerner
Support Staff: Diagnostic Imaging (Radiology) Nurses and Techs; We do have a large Radiology group in Sacramento that performs overflow and after-hours reads
Reason for Coverage: Resignation of Radiologist
Dealbreakers: Procedural Skills Acute Care Imaging capability (Stroke CTs ED and ICU imaging studies)
