What this job involves: General Maintenance Technician position at our Greenwood SC facility working 1st shift Monday-Friday responsible for facility maintenance regulatory compliance and repairs in a distribution center environment.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Managing workflows through the Corrigo CMMS platform
- Scheduling and completing preventative maintenance tasks and regulatory inspections
- Performing repair work or coordinating with qualified vendors
- Maintaining proper documentation for compliance
- Ordering necessary parts and equipment
- Maintaining inventory of supplies and parts
- Serving as a point of contact for service providers
- Following safety protocols and communicating with client personnel
Desired or preferred experience and technical skills:
- 2 years experience with commercial building systems in distribution environments
- Proficiency with CMMS platforms (specifically Corrigo)
- Knowledge of fire and life safety equipment
- Experience with emergency power systems
- Basic electrical troubleshooting skills (low voltage single & 3 phase)
- HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting abilities
- Dock equipment maintenance knowledge
- Building storage systems experience (High Bay racking)
- General repair skills in plumbing electrical mechanical and carpentry
- HVAC certifications (desirable but not required)
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook Word Excel)
- Strong internet navigation skills
- Effective communication abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Schedule flexibility to adapt to client needs
- Availability for on-call requirements
- Commitment to following safety protocols
- Ability to maintain a clean safe workplace
- Professional and timely customer service
