Job Description
Cosmetology Instructor
Location:Spanish Fork UT
Status: Part-time
Hours: Monday and Friday from 9:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00 p.m. - 9:15 p.m. and every other Saturday from 7:00 a.m.-3:15 p.m.
Pay / Hourly: $24.09
SUMMARY
As a Cosmetology Instructor you will train students for employment in cosmetology barbering hair design skin and nail care. Your role is key in ensuring that students develop the skills they need to be job-ready. Come enjoy the rewards of helping a new generation of cosmetology students launch successful careers!

RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Teach engaging lessons using hands-on skill-based competency training to the greatest extent possible.
- Develop and/or maintain lesson plans for classroom and lab activities.
- Manages and supervises students in the classroom and on the practical floor.
- Evaluate instruction/learning by means of written oral practical and performance tests.
- Maintains student-oriented approach and desirable classroom conditions. Check equipment daily for hazards ensuring it is maintained and properly repaired.
- Maintains accurate and current reports and records regarding student accountability attendance and performance.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- Graduation from an accredited Cosmetology School or apprenticeship
- Valid Utah State Cosmetology Instructors License
- Minimum of three years industry experience is required
- Prior teaching experience is preferred
