Job Description
This position serves as a transfer evaluation specialist implementing all aspects of uAchieve and related programs for undergraduate students with a focus on serving both prospective and admitted students pursuing University Extended Campus with priority on online programs. Serves as a liaison between the Registration & Academic Records Office and the University Extended Campus. Creates ensures and provides quality and accurate data for all transfer students with an emphasis in serving those associated prospective and admitted students pursuing University Extended Campus programs. This includes the processing of transfer credits encoding and updating transfer tables in uAchieve. Supports the Registration & Academic Records Office outreach initiatives including data accuracy and integrity expert in all aspects of Transfer and uAchieve encoding. Provides one-on-one customer support to students and direct communication with University Extended Campus partners.
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to analyze and make recommendations to management for new or revised administrative and program practices and procedures for smooth and efficient office operation.
Skill in database management knowledge of complex databases and technical skills sufficient to develop and accurately enter information into non-standard or advanced software and generate a variety of ad- hoc queries and reports.
Skill in customer service is sufficient to effectively communicate and elicit information with tact and diplomacy in difficult situations.
Skill in customer service is sufficient to provide prompt courteous professional and accurate information to customers in person on the phone and through email and other written correspondence.
Skill in data entry is sufficient to input data quickly and accurately and to check input and output data for completeness accuracy and discrepancies.
Skills in obtaining organizing and drafting administrative materials for public information and/or office use.
Preferred Qualification
Associates degree or higher educational credential
Demonstrated excellent time management and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and provide self-direction while maintaining strong collaborative team skills.
Demonstrated ability to make decisions based on established guidelines.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to evolving technology procedures and processes.
Professional experience in a customer support or service role.
Professional experience in an educational setting (k-12 or higher education) providing student services.
Experience working with diverse populations and a demonstrated commitment to diversity equity and inclusion.

Work safely at all times which includes but is not limited to participating and completing all required safety trainings as well as performing all job tasks in accordance with Minnesota State University Mankato policies and procedures utilizing appropriate tools equipment and personal protective equipment.
