Description:
Provide Tier 4 HPC support to NSAW and UDC sites.
Due to federal contract requirements United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with customer appropriate polygraph).
Capabilities:
TECHNICAL EXPERT/FUNCTIONAL EXPERT FOR HPC must have the qualifications required by the relevant TTO:
Required Qualifications:
Salary Range: $250000.00 - $260000.00 (Annually)
Annual Compensation Figures listed for this position serve as a general guideline and are not a guarantee of compensation. Compensation will vary dependent upon factors including but not limited to: Government contract rates; education; relevant prior work experience knowledge skills and competencies; certifications and geographic location.

Capabilities:
TECHNICAL EXPERT/FUNCTIONAL EXPERT FOR HPC must have the qualifications required by the relevant TTO:
- Configuration tuning testing and advanced level troubleshooting and support of high performance filesystems such as XFS GPFS and Lustre
- Advanced level troubleshooting and support ofHPC farm systems and associated applications such as Nagios xcat failover software and compilers
- Working knowledge of HPC MPP systems
- Configuration tuning testing and advanced level troubleshooting and support of distributed computing tools such as RES LSF and SLURM.
- Configuration tuning testing and advanced level troubleshooting of RedHat and SuSe operating systems
- Accepted professional certifications:
- valid RHCSA or higher Red Hat certification
- valid V M Ware certification
Required Qualifications:
- TS/SCI with Customer Appropriate Poly
- A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field and have at least eight (8) years in a large and complex IT environment providing industry and government recognized functional expertise. Or the individual shall have five (5) years of full lime computer science work that can substitute for the Bachelors degree and have at least eight years in a large and complex IT environment providing industry and government recognized functional expertise.
- A Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field may substitute for two (2) years experience. An industry recognized professional certification may substitute as one year experience.
Salary Range: $250000.00 - $260000.00 (Annually)
