Job Description
Peace Wapiti Public School Division (PWPSD) provides service to approximately 6100 students in Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12 in 34 schools and is one of the largest employers in the Grande Prairie/Spirit River region.
Peace Wapiti Public School Divisions Transportation Department is responsible for the repair and maintenance of more than 170 school buses and vehicles within the Division. The successful candidate must be willing to work both independently as well as in a team environment and have good communication skills. Must be able to work over-time when required.
The Transportation Department is seeking a Full Time Licensed Journeyman Automotive or Heavy Duty Mechanic to work out of the Grande PrairieBus Shop.

Salary is commensurate with education/training and experience.
The Journeyman Wage is $41.84/hour to $43.60/hour (based upon years of experience).
