EO Solutions is a fast-growing defense technology company focused onHigh Energy Laser (HEL)systemsSpace Domain Awareness (SDA) and expeditionary optical platforms. At our Madison AL location we are expanding support for HEL prototypes and deliverable systems and are looking for mission-driven professionals to join our team.
Position Summary:
We are seeking aGovernmentProperty Specialistwitha minimum of 5 years of experiencein managinggovernmentand contractor-acquired property for Department of Defense programsspecifically in environments involvingmechanical and electrical kitsfor High Energy Laser systems.
This position is essential to ensuring accountability traceability and compliance in our HEL program development and delivery efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full lifecycle ofGovernmentFurnished Property (GFP)andContractor Acquired Property (CAP)used in HEL system development and integration.
- Track and maintain inventory ofmechanical and electrical kit assembliesfor field-deployable laser systems including power subsystems optics modules and cooling hardware.
- Support asset tagging barcode tracking labeling and documentation of property records using tools likeFlowTracandUnanet.
- Prepare for and support internal and external audits including DCMA property reviews.
- Coordinate with engineering program management and supply chain to ensure timely and accurate property movement handoff and accountability.
- Interpret and enforce FAR 52.245-1 and othergovernmentproperty clauses in execution.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 years of direct experienceinGovernmentProperty Management in aerospace defense or national security environments.
- Strong knowledge ofFAR/DFARS property regulationsand DoD accountability standards.
- Proven experience tracking and managingtechnical kits prototypes and deliverable systemsfor R&D or low-rate production contracts.
- Familiarity with asset management systems (e.g. FlowTrac Unanet SAP Maximo).
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Madison AL and interface directly with technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background inHEL Directed Energy or Laser Weapon Systems programs.
- Prior support toFirm Fixed Price (FFP)DoD contracts.
- Experience with audits and preparing corrective action responses.
- Technical aptitude to understand engineering bill of materials (BOMs) and kit breakdowns.
