JOB SUMMARY AND OBJECTIVE
The Lab Technical Resolution Associate is responsible for providing high level technical support and consultation to meet customer expectations. The role will work alongside lab subject matter experts to understand advanced optical principles and how they apply to the fabrication of eyewear. They will have the ability to understand patients concerns prior to fabrication as well as understand causes for patient rejection. The Lab Technical Resolution Associate will advise on Design and Material/Color Combinations that can work with the patient frame and Rx to produce a product that will meet their expectations and must be able to perform in all areas of their specialty as listed below under the Essential Functions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Obtain review and analyze data from customer requests and consult with the customer
- Monitor Fitting Set inventory conduct stock count as needed and coordinate with lab for replenishment
- Packaging and Invoice / Shipping of all Fit Set includes Delta.
- Ensure materials and supplies are available using inventory management and supply chain processes
- Receive review and process customer orders as needed
- Maintain accurate inventory records track order statuses and generate reports.
- Back-up production reports
- Manage solution inventory and scleral travel kits
- Work with the Data Management team to ensure customer requests manifest themselves properly onto job tickets
- Keep jobs organized: Tag update status and ensure timely follow ups are made
- Participate in team department and company-wide meetings as scheduled; actively participate in team discussions and provide feedback to maintain and improve the work environment
- Ensure that the work area is clean and organized and prepared for the next shift with all items in their designated locations
- Utilize proper handling techniques and equipment to minimize damages and reduce injuries
- Follow and uphold all OSHA and company guidelines policies and safety regulations
- Ability to work overtime as business needs dictate
- Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years of experience within the Data Entry or Lab Team or equivalent external experience
- Requires PC proficiency in a windows-based environment with the ability to use search tools browsers e-mail features and proficient with MS office applications (Excel Word)
- Ability to adapt to change and unexpected demands of the business
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively
- Ability to resolve conflict issues in a tactful and professional manner
- Ability to multi-task and utilize multiple systems while performing the job
Desired Qualifications
- Prior optical experience in Surfacing Finishing or Final QC
- Self-led individual with ability to communicate well across departments and teams
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to sit stand walk bend and use hands to finger handle or feel objects tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds (safety/weight belt provided if requested). Specific vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus are required.

Travel for this position would be minimal if at all.

For US Candidates
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $17.00/hour $1.00 increase after 90 days.
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors including geography experience qualifications skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan.
