Job Description
Great Southern Wood Preserving Inc. makers of Yellawood brand Pressure Treated Pine has a career opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and a full benefits package.
Responsibilities Include:
- Review invoices for appropriate documentation
- Enter and upload invoice into system
- Prepare and process electronic and check payments
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Reconcile accounts to ensure all invoices are accounted for
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquires
Required Skills:
- Data Entry
- Familiarity with Purchase Order Process
- Ability to multitask
- Organizational skills
- Understanding of basic accounting principles
- Attention to detail
- Interpersonal communication
- Team work
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of Accounts Payable experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience with JD Edwards ERP System
