We are looking for a Data Scientist & Analyst to join us as we build cutting-edge technology solutions! This is your opportunity to be part of a team that is committed to delivering best in class service to our customers.
In this role you will play a pivotal role in driving data-informed decisions across a high-impact product portfolio used by millions of users worldwide. Youll partner with cross-functional teams to surface insights that influence strategy and growth. This role combines technical acumen in data science with a strategic mindset and offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge developer tools and AI-driven innovations.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and synthesize financial product usage and customer data to identify growth opportunities across a portfolio of cloud and developer-focused tools.
- Design and build Power BI dashboards to surface insights across technical and business stakeholders.
- Maintain and evolve key metrics related to customer acquisition engagement churn and financial health.
- Apply statistical techniques to derive insights investigate anomalies and support strategic decision-making.
- Develop SQL and Kusto (Azure Data Explorer) queries and build data pipelines to streamline reporting and analytics.
- Collaborate with product managers engineers and business leaders to define and execute analytical projects.
- Communicate findings clearly and effectively through presentations visualizations and written reports.
- Adhere to best practices in data privacy and handling of sensitive data including PII and financial metrics.
- Contribute to the teams data science function through the development of scalable tools processes and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Statistics Mathematics Data Science Engineering Computer Science Economics or a related field AND6 years of experience in data analysis business intelligence or related roles
OR Masters degree in a related field AND 4 years of relevant experience - Proficient inPython for data analysis (minimum 8 years experience expected)
- Proficient inGit/GitHub and Azure DevOps for version control and collaboration (minimum 6 years experience)
- Strong experience withPower BI (minimum 3 years)
- Advanced SQL skills and familiarity with large-scale data querying
- Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and translate business needs into technical insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong statistical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adapt in a fast-paced collaborative environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8 years experience in data analysis or data science roles
- Experience working withAzure Data Explorer (Kusto)
- Background in SaaS cloud platforms or developer tools
- Experience integratingAI/LLM capabilities into analytical solutions
- Familiarity withcustomer lifecycle metrics (acquisition engagement retention)
- Knowledge ofdata security standards and compliance related to financial or personally identifiable information
Salary Range
Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including without limitation skill sets education responsibilities experience and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic-based ranges for Washington state: $120000 - $135000 USD annually with a midpoint of $128500. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidates qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
