Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate reliable and dedicated In-Home Caregiver to provide non-medical assistance to a 9 year old little boy with special needs in his home. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing personal care companionship and support todisabled individuals ensuring their comfort safety and well-being. This client will need a lot of care and love from an individual looking for a fulfillingcareer making a huge difference in someones life!
This is a 40 hour a week schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing dressing grooming and hygiene.
- Help with light housekeeping tasks including meal preparation laundry and general cleaning.
- Provide companionship and engage in social activities with clients.
- Assist with mobility transfers and positioning.
- Ensure the clients home environment is safe and comfortable.
- Provide medication reminders (non-medical assistance).
- Monitor the well-being of the client and communicate any changes to family members or supervisors.
- Assist with running errands such as grocery shopping appointments and other activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required.
- Compassionate patient and empathetic.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to lift and assist with mobility if needed.
- Must pass background check and drug screening.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain certification).
