About Us

CDK Global is a leading provider of cloud-based software to dealerships and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) across automotive and related industries. Position Summary

The Account Development Executive position drives top line growth by forging relationships with customers who do not have a business relationship with CDK within a specific geographical area. Grows new market share through conquest sales selling our CRM to automotive dealerships. Works in conjunction with channel partners to increase sales opportunities in CDK Strategic Products. Achieves annual assigned sales plan working under guidance of the Director of Sales.

Territory includes Ilinois Wisconsin and Iowa - must live in territory to be considered.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and define a growth strategy in the market for the business

  • Consistently exceed monthly quarterly and annual sales targets and expect to be well-compensated for results

  • Manage the sales process end to end proactively managing our internal teams to ensure completion of the implementation process

Qualifications & Job Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of 5 years in an outside sales B2B new business development role including experience selling to automotive dealerships.

OR

  • At least 5 years automotive dealership experience preferably in a high-volume sales or sales management role with experience using our CRM system (preferred but not required) plus B2B sales experience.

  • Experience using consultative solution selling to align clients business needs with a solution

  • Ability to travel 75% or more with weekly overnight travel

Salary: $85000 Uncapped Commissions

CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
