Job Description

Overview

Emory Healthcare is where belonging meets purpose.

The Emory Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Cardiac Critical Care post graduate Fellowship is a one year training program that teaches Fellows to become highly skilled in the multidisciplinary collaborative and evidence-based management of complex patients in the cardiac intensive care unit. This program attracts new graduates and established APPs seeking a structured educational program who want to become experts and leaders in their field.

Our program combines a highly detailed competency-based curriculum with hands on learning in the clinical setting. Rotations incorporate cardiac care units medical cardiovascular surgical general surgical and neurological ICUs as well as brief exposures with electrophysiology echocardiography heart failure nephrology and infectious diseases services.

Upon successful completion of the program the Fellow will be eligible for employment within Emory Healthcare and become a practice leader within the institution.

Application Requirements:

  • Eligible to graduate from an accredited ACNP/AGACNP or PA program.
  • Submission of a completed application by 10/01/2025.
  • Completed application includes submission of the following supporting documentation:
    • CV/Resume
    • Statement of Intent: One-page 12-point font double-spaced statement describing career goals and reasons for pursing the fellowship. Include future career plans and how they might be enhanced by additional training in the fellowship. The statement of intent is NOT a cover letter and is an important document which is included in the consideration of your application
    • 2 Letters of Recommendation: One must be from your schools Program Director (New Graduates) or Supervising Physician (Currently Employed)
    • Official Transcripts
    • Current BLS and ACLS certifications issued by the American Heart Association.

Submission of resume and attachments must be completed by October 1 2025 to be considered. Incomplete submissions will not be accepted.
