You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are currently seeking a highly motivated results-oriented life scientist to join the Cell Analysis US Field Applications Scientist team. The ideal individual will be outgoing and confident with excellent communication/presentation skills. The successful candidate will work well independently but will appreciate being part of a dynamic growing sales team supporting research in the life sciences including supporting customer use of instrumentation focused on live cell analysis for microscopy and flow cytometry along with optional multimode detection and metabolic profiling.

Primary responsibilities:
Provide field-based & remote scientific engagement with customers in both pre/post-sales capacities; from focused 1:1 consultation to product demonstrations and applications-focused training & assay optimization
Develop expertise with instrument hardware/software while keeping abreast of current assays/workflows as well as emerging applications
Convey customers voice and feedback to product management to promote innovation and address evolving market requirements
Bachelors or Masters Degree or PhD (preferred) in Cell Biology Microbiology Neuroscience Immunology Bio-engineering or related scientific field
Relevant experience as a Field Application Scientist is highly preferred
4 years relevant experience in an advanced academic or industrial experience using flow cytometry microscopy or other live-cell instrumentation preferred
Experience using Agilent Cell Analysis instrumentation (BioTek ACEA and Seahorse) a plus
Extensive knowledge of cell-based assays including but not limited to: flow cytometry widefield or confocal microscopy live cell analyses as well as a strong foundation in the use of data analysis software programs (such as ImageJ CellProfiler FlowJo or similar)
Excellent written and oral communication skills including comfort with public speaking as well as strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Must be willing to travel 40%-60% domestically

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Applications for this job will be accepted until at least June 9 2025 or until the job is no longer posted. It is sales incentive eligible. In the US this position is eligible for choice of company car or reimbursement for personal vehicle usage.The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $135150.00 - $225250.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role level and location. Within the range individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills experience and relevant education or training.
