About the Role:
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Creative Producer to lead the execution of high-profile creative campaigns for entertainment and gaming clients with a focus on supporting programs in Japan. This senior-level hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of creativity and execution and who can drive complex cross-functional projects from concept to delivery. You will act as lead producer and at times jump in as an editor to ease demanding workflows.
Fluency in Japanese is essential as this role will regularly lead Japan-based programs collaborate with local partners and oversee creative tailored to Japanese audiences.
As a Senior Creative Producer you will manage a wide range of creative initiativesincluding digital video print and live event productions. Youll collaborate closely with creative leads account teams and external vendors to ensure the highest level of execution and creative excellence across all touchpoints.
This role requires a deep understanding of the creative production processfrom ideation through final deliverywith demonstrated expertise in digital asset and video production. Youre a strategic thinker an operational pro and a calm decisive leader who can see the big picture while executing the details flawlessly.
Producer Responsibilities:
- Serve as defacto Production Lead for all Japanese-led Off Base projects working with a keen understanding of resonant content specific to Japanese gamer audiences.
- Own and oversee the end-to-end production of creative campaigns including brief development creative strategy team resourcing scheduling budgeting and final delivery.
- Work alongside Account Lead to lead client meetings creative presentations and review sessions ensuring alignment and momentum at every stage of the process.
- Collaborate with creative directors writers editors designers and other partners to shape and elevate concepts that resonate with target audiences.
- Own production timelines serve as primary asset intake manager lead localization workflows manage licensing needs and external talent engagement when necessary (e.g. voiceover freelance creatives).
- Work with team members to lead development maintenance and implementation of video and other production technical documentation and best practices to ensure consistency quality control and operational efficiency across all phases of production including asset intake workflows localization archiving and final delivery.
- Anticipate production challenges well ahead of their actualizations and advise client and internal teams on how to effectively mitigate these risks.
- Provide strategic counsel to clients and production teams to optimize content production messaging and distribution strategies.
- Act as both producer and video editor when neededjumping in for cutdowns and Japanese localization.
- Lead the production of a wide variety of creative outputs including video digital content live events and print assets.
- Maintain rigorous organization of project assets including sourcing archiving and delivery of final files.
- Proactively identify challenges and lead solution-oriented discussions that enable creative growth and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in creative production with a proven track record in managing integrated campaigns across digital video print and live formats.
- Extensive experience working with entertainment gaming or lifestyle brands.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume projects while maintaining creative excellence.
- Strong background in vendor management content localization and multi-platform delivery.
- An outstanding eye for detail and consistency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Japanese.
- A passion for video games and the entertainment industry is a major plus.
- Proficiency with video production tools like Adobe Premiere and AfterEffects.
- Willingness to work according to Japanese time zones for weeks at a time is a must.
