Number of Beds: 31 plus 6 hallway when neededPatient Ratios : 4:1Unit staffing description: very high volume/high acuity trauma centerDocumentation system: Meditech/EDMScheduling requirements: 3 twelve hr shifts/weekFloating policy: As neededMust have: RN with critical care trauma burn and pediatric experience a plus TNCCENPCPALSACLSBLS2 Years of Hospital ExperienceNIH REQUIRED Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: Experience with the following: High Volume High AcuityStrokesBurnsTraumaMeditech experience preferredSpecialty/Unit Certifications Required: (RN)Active TX RN License Or compact license temp license will NOT be accepted Procedures performed on unit:TraumasConscious sedationtPA for strokes Patient Experience Required:Must have great patient interaction
