As a Lead Infrastructure Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Retail Branch Systems Infrastructure team youapply deep knowledge of software applications and technical processes within the infrastructure engineering discipline. Job responsibilities
- Applies technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to projects of moderate scope
- Drives a workstream or project consisting of one or more infrastructure engineering technologies
- Works with other platforms to architect and implement changes required to resolve issues and modernize the organization and its technology processes
- Executes creative solutions for the design development and technical troubleshooting for problems of moderate complexity
- Strongly considers upstream/downstream data and systems or technical implications and advises on mitigation actions
- Adds to team culture of diversity equity inclusion and respect
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Formal training or certification on Infrastructure engineering concepts and 5 years applied experience
- Deep knowledge of one or more areas of infrastructure engineering such as hardware networking terminology databases storage engineering deployment practices integration automation scaling resilience or performance assessments
- Significant experience in Windows Systems Engineering Active Directory GPOs platform engineering and remote end point management
- Proficient in PowerShell and a working knowledge of SDLM (Software Development Lifecycle Management)
- 10 plus years experience working in a distributed environment
- Enterprise scale and resiliency experience in system and software security and entitlements (SSO windows Kerberos LDAP Windows AD)
- Modern compute technologies (e.g. virtualization cloud) Windows (10/11 Server 2019)
- Experience with Agile development process and automated testing
- Experience working across large infrastructure environments and distributed across multiple data centers
- Experience in end-to-end systems automation and orchestration
- Experience in Systems and Application monitoring systems and instrumentation
