You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe role of the Supply Chain Planner is to develop and maintain production plans for the Liverpool manufacturing which fulfil the requirements of the supply plan considering all aspects of capacity material availability & current regulatory approvals.
Responsibilities
Production Planning
Review supply requirements from the monthly S&OP forecast in line with current capacity and throughput assumptions and highlight any areas of risk.
Ensure understanding of current planning assumptions including any restrictions on lead time or batch release stages.
Develop production schedules to support the supply requirements from the S&OP forecast that are capacity levelled in line with current planning assumptions.
Make adjustments to plans as required based on current manufacturing status.
Participate in Tiered accountability meetings on site to drive the delivery of the production schedule and support manufacturing as required.
In collaboration with manufacturing develop plans for non-commercial and maintenance requirements to support operational readiness.
Collaborate with manufacturing areas to ensure commitment to both short- and long-term plans.
Maintain MRP SAP Master data to drive the correct plans
In collaboration with manufacturing review BOM usage and ensure any change requirements are communicated correctly to the SAP data manager
Track manufacturing schedule adherence with appropriate escalation as required.
Proactively manage and communicate risks and consequences associated with plan.
Drive the required batch release to support manufacturing and supply plans.
Collaboration with other Supply Chain Planners to ensure alignment across the operation.
Responsible for the Quality Notification process for areas identified in role
Material Replenishment
As required for the areas defined ensure all raw materials are available for manufacturing to deliver the supply plans required.
Utilise SAP MRP to drive MRP defining and maintaining the correct MRP settings to drive this plan.
Review the materials for any expiry risk in the next 12 months and manage in SAP as required for replenishment and actions for future mitigation.
Provide input to S&OP on material write-off exposure.
Provide periodic forecasts for key suppliers as required.
Responsible for the Quality Notification process for areas identified in role
Pandemic preparedness
Support the pandemic readiness for Liverpool site for the areas of planning responsibility.
Collaborate with Sourcing to review and maintain supplier contracts.
Active participation in the site pandemic readiness strategy and meetings
Contribute to overall Supply Chain functional excellence
Initiate and implement process improvements to drive Supply Chain efficiencies.
Actively participate in the Tiered accountability meetings in the department and escalate as required.
Represent Supply Chain at cross functional operational meetings and lead Supply Chain topics
Provide cover within the department as required
Take on an appropriate share of departmental support activities (training SAP data housekeeping new materials introduction lead one of the weekly processes)
Evaluate and Implement Change Control / DR actions which impact Supply Chain
