Position Description
We re looking for a skilled Front-End Developer with strong MERN stack and Firebase experience to help build high-quality scalable web applications. The ideal candidate is not only technically proficient but also capable of leading teams collaborating cross-functionally and ensuring secure optimized code. A passion for continuous learning and building real-world products is essential.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in MongoDB with experience in managing databases optimizing queries and handling large datasets.
- Expertise in for building RESTful APIs and backend services.
- skills for managing front-end development with experience in building scalable responsive user interfaces.
- Proficiency in for server-side scripting with a deep understanding of asynchronous programming security protocols and optimization techniques.
- Experience with Firebase services such as Firestore Authentication and Cloud Functions particularly in managing real-time data and integrating Firebase with MERN stack applications.
- Strong familiarity with Firebase s security rules deployment and hosting features.
- Team Leadership: Proven experience leading development teams conducting code reviews mentoring junior developers and ensuring best practices in coding and project management.
- Collaboration Skills: Experience working with cross-functional teams including designers product managers and business stakeholders to ensure technical alignment with business objectives.
- Security-Minded: Understanding of security protocols and best practices for securing web applications databases and managing sensitive user data especially in a food-tech domain like Siciliamia.
- Scalability and Performance Optimization: Ability to design systems that are scalable ensuring Siciliamia s applications can handle growth in user base without performance degradation.
- Adaptability and Continuous Learning: Given the fast-paced nature of the tech industry we should look for candidates who are not only proficient with the current stack but are also eager to stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices.

The backend is set up using Firebase Knowledge of PHP Knowledge of WordPress Knowledge of React Js is a plus Creating APIs Node js MongoDB Authentication, caching Express Clear and effective communication skills in English (written and verbal) Ability to manage multiple projects Attention to detail Positive attitude and pro-activeness are a must Creativity and the ability to think outside the box
