Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Manager Education Counsellor (Study Aboard) to lead our student consultancy operations. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of international education systems sales strategies and student visa procedures. This role involves managing end-to-end student journeys from initial consultation and course selection to admissions and visa application while achieving business targets and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consultancy & Advisory
- Provide expert guidance to students on study destinations courses universities and career prospects.
- Conduct detailed profile assessments to ensure accurate course and university recommendations.
- Stay updated with changes in international education systems and visa requirements.
- Sales & Business Development
- Achieve student recruitment targets through effective sales strategies and lead conversion.
- Build partnerships with educational institutions agents and other stakeholders.
- Plan and execute promotional activities like seminars webinars and education fairs.
- Visa & Application Processing
- Oversee student application processes including documentation SOP review and interview preparation.
- Guide students on visa application processes for countries such as the UK USA Canada Australia etc.
- Ensure high visa success rates by maintaining accuracy and compliance with immigration policies.
- Team Leadership & Operations
- Manage and train a team of counsellors and support staff.
- Monitor KPIs prepare performance reports and ensure efficient workflow.
- Handle escalations and ensure a seamless experience for all clients.
Requirements
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree (Education Business or related field preferred).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in study abroad consultancy international admissions or visa counselling.
- Strong knowledge of visa regulations and admission processes for major study destinations.
- Proven experience in sales and lead conversion.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to multitask prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in a managerial or leadership role in the education consultancy industry.
Education: Bachelor s/master s degree in marketing, Business, Digital Media, or a related field. Experience: 1-3 years Skills: Content Creation, Colorations, ROAS, CTR and trend awareness
