Job Description

The Data Entry Customer Service Representative will be responsible for accurately entering and maintaining customer data in our database while providing high-quality support and assistance to clients. This role requires strong attention to detail excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will help ensure data integrity and contribute to an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately input customer information (names addresses order details payment data) into the companys database system

  • Verify and correct data discrepancies to maintain up-to-date records

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone email or online chat providing clear and courteous assistance

  • Resolve basic account issues such as order status billing questions and address updates

  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g. sales billing and technical support) to escalate and resolve complex customer concerns

  • Produce routine reports on data accuracy and customer service metrics

  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information and adhere to data protection regulations

  • Identify process improvements to streamline data entry workflows and enhance customer satisfaction


Qualifications :

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree or coursework in Business Administration Information Technology or related field preferred

  • Proven experience (12 years) in data entry customer service or administrative support roles

  • Exceptional typing speed (minimum 50 WPM) with high accuracy

  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word) and familiarity with CRM/database software

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual skills (Spanish/English) are a plus

  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to maintain focus during repetitive tasks

  • Ability to problem-solve and escalate issues appropriately when needed

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively

  • Professional patient and customer-focused demeanor
