JOB DETAILS
Night Shift starts: 6:00 pm
Base pay starts at $17.00 per hour
The Material Handler position has the capability of operating forklifts cranes and other mechanical material handling equipment. Other areas could be crate/production assembly
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide customer responsive and efficient manufacturing support activities
- Complete work assignments and customer orders safely accurately timely and without damage Assist co-workers and customers
- Inspect materials products machinery tools and equipment
- Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
- Maintaining a steady flow of materials and resources to production workstations
- Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas
- Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or GED
- A minimum of (1) one year of related work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle overhead crane yard mule and side loaders
- Ability to work in a non-temperature- controlled environment
- Experience with side forklift bander nail gun overhead crane saws stretch wrap machine and various pneumatic equipment preferred not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
- Good attitude and team oriented
- Valid Drivers License

This is a position with potential overtime. The shifts are 8 hours 10 hours and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year.
