Job Description

Anticipated Contract End Date/Length: 12 months
Work set up: Open to the UK Remote (UK-based preferred for policy familiarity)

Our client in the global professional services industry is seeking a highly experienced Senior Writer - Procurement (Public & Private Sectors) with deep expertise in procurement across both public and private sectors to support content creation that is strategic clear and insight-led. This role requires someone who not only understands the technical and policy-driven nature of procurement but can also translate complex procurement processes regulations and commercial considerations into clear engaging written content for both internal and external audiences.

What you will do:

  • Write high-quality audience-appropriate content focused on procurement themes policies and practices.
  • Translate technical procurement processes legal frameworks and commercial drivers into engaging accessible materials.
  • Develop content such as white papers reports case studies articles web copy and internal communications.
  • Collaborate with SMEs commercial teams and policy stakeholders to gather insights and ensure accuracy.
  • Adapt tone and messaging for public or private sector audiences as needed.
  • Ensure content aligns with the clients brand voice and strategic objectives.
     

Qualifications :

  • Experience working with or within UK public sector procurement frameworks (e.g. Crown Commercial Service NHS Supply Chain etc.).
  • Knowledge of procurement technology platforms and trends (e.g. e-procurement systems).
  • Background in journalism public policy or B2B communications is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Writer Content Strategist or Communications Specialist with a focus on procurement.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes in both public and private sector contexts.
  • Familiarity with procurement policy commercial frameworks and contractual language.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex subject matter into clear concise and engaging content.
  • Excellent interviewing research and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and a clear grasp of tone structure and language best practices.
