Job Description

Job duties include but are not limited to:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled veterinary professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills taking initiative in clinical settings mentoring peers and contributing to a collaborative team culture. Responsibilities include pet restraint triage of incoming patients collection and analysis of laboratory samples diagnostic imaging and the management and nursing care of both stable and critically ill hospitalized patients.

Proficiency in the administration of medications clear and empathetic communication of treatment plans with clients surgical preparation and assistance and anesthetic monitoring and management is essential.

The role requires resilience in challenging environments candidates must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises and may be exposed to bites scratches animal waste and potentially contagious diseases.


Qualifications :

Were looking for:

  • An experienced Lead Veterinary assistant or technician.  RVT preferred.
  • Leadership experience-required 
  • Minimum two-years experience as a veterinary assistant or veterinary technician.
  • A strong leader with experience managing a team of veterinary assistants and veterinary technicians.
  • Experience in exam rooms treatment/ICU area surgery dentals and their associated technical skills are a must.
  • Ability to create monitor and maintain detailed/accurate patient records.
  • Proactive mindset with a strong ability to anticipate our doctors needs.
  • An ability to effectively educate our clients about their pets health.
  • Effective Communication Skills are Paramount
  • Ability/Desire to Practice Stress-Free Pet Care
  • Empathy and compassion for our patients and their owners is a must.
  • We prefer a Registered or Licensed Veterinary Technician however a Veterinary Assistant with extensive experience and appropriate skill sets will be considered.
