Major Gifts Specialist
Department: Advancement Development & Donor Engagement
Schedule: Fulltime Onsite (some local travel)
Compensation:$70000 - $85000 per year DOE
PositionDescription:
The Major Gifts Specialist nurtures deep Christcentered relationships with generous partners who fuel Lighthouse Mission Ministries work to heal homelessness. By aligning donor passions with impactful giving opportunities the role secures major gifts ($6000) that provide shelter meals recovery programs and restored lives.

Responsibilities:
Cultivate solicit and steward a personal portfolio of donors giving $6000 annually
Reactivate lapsed supporters and engage new prospects through visits calls events and tailored communication
Collaborate with program and advancement teams to craft compelling proposals and impact reports
Share inspiring stories of transformation; invite donors into prayer and ministry impact
Maintain accurate CRM records for all donor interactions and strategies
Represent LMM at churches community events and partner gatherings
Embrace and model LMMs gracebased accountability philosophy; provide devotionals and prayer in group settings
Other duties as assigned by the Chief Advancement Officer
OrganizationalRelationships:
Reports directly to the Chief Advancement Officer
Partners closely with Advancement Services Marketing and Program leadership
Represents LMM to churches agencies vendors and the public
Qualifications:
Agreement with Lighthouse Missions Statement of Faith and adherence to the Life & Personal Covenant
Strong Christian faith and active prayer life
Proven success in fundraising or donor relationspreferably in a ministry context
Excellent interpersonal written and oral communication skills
Calm compassionate presence in highstress situations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Google Workspace and CRM tools
Ability to travel locally and work some evenings/weekends for donor meetings or events
PhysicalDemands&WorkEnvironment:

Lift/carry up to50lbs. occasionally (event materials)
Work indoors/outdoors in varied weather; manage highenergy donor events
