Software Development EngineerWhat does a successful Software Development Engineer do at Fiserv
As a successful Software Development Engineer you will have the ability to develop enterprise full lifecycle solutions to include integration acceptance testing and code review.
What you will do:
You will work with various solutions and participate in all phases of the software development life cycle (architecture and conceptual design requirements analysis high level design detailed design coding unit testing integration and performance level testing.)
What you will need to have:
- 7 years of experience in upgrading old technology stacks to leading technologies
- Demonstrated ability to recognize business needs analyze requests recommend solid technical solutions and lead in delivering the solution
- Experience refining the user stories and implementing complex business rules into the application/product as prioritized for delivery
- Familiarity with various design and architectural patterns
- Experience in conducting code reviews and test plan reviews with other Engineers to create high-quality maintainable software
What would be great to have:
- 7 years delivering software in a highly compliant and regulated environment for the Education Industry
- Experience with Automated Unit Testing and Test-Driven Development
- Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with accuracy
