PPM Consultants is seeking a Project Manager to lead petroleum restoration projects that safeguard communities restore ecosystems and drive environmental progress across Florida and the Gulf Coast. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to complex remediation efforts under the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Petroleum Restoration Program (PRP) and similar state-led initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage environmental remediation projects under the FDEP PRP and equivalent programs.
  • Oversee site assessments sampling and system operations and maintenance (O&M).
  • Prepare technical reports and work plans including SARs RAPs and pilot test protocols.
  • Coordinate field activities such as drilling system installation and compliance monitoring.
  • Manage project budgets and regulatory milestones.
  • Serve as a liaison with clients regulatory agencies and internal teams.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development.


Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Environmental Engineering Geology Hydrogeology or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of environmental consulting experience with at least 3 years in petroleum site remediation.
  • Familiarity with FDEP PRP ATC procedures and OCCS documentation.
  • Strong technical writing project management and communication skills.
  • Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification (or ability to obtain/refresh).
  • PE or PG license preferred or ability to obtain within one year.Why Join PPM
