While this position provides Patient Logistics services to the patients of CommonSpirit Health across the United States this position must work on-site at our Phoenix AZ Virtual Hospital located at 3033 N. 3rd Avenue.
Job Summary / Purpose
The Patient Logistics Manager is responsible for managing the bed placement and transfer center and other activities support within the Command Center. The position is responsible to support the department and staff to carry out the patient logistics program and command center responsibilities. The Patient Logistics Manager collaborates with customers and staff to ensure efficient and effective communication with others including but not limited to: hospital administration nursing leadership or their designee medical staff physicians and transportation vendors to ensure patients are assigned rooms in an expedient manner utilizing all critical resources within the organization to ensure timely accurate patient throughput and care throughout the continuum. Primary responsibility will include supervising the patient logistics team including clinical coordinators patient logistics coordinators and patient logistics nurses in the Dignity Health/CommonSpirit Health Patient Logistics department within the Command Center.
